This photo was taken the 9th of August, very early in the morning. It was awkward to shoot it, as the sun was at an awkward angle and I was getting horrific glare at any other angle than the one I took this photo at, so this photo was nice to capture. I managed to accent the webs using a water-mister.

The largest of the webs (lower right) was only about a handspan and a 1/2 wide. They were Spiderling webs, I think. They were never repaired or cleaned after this photo.

Later.

It was about 9pm on the 4th of July. The light was a pearly yellow upon the houses and the sky . . .

The First Picture Post

I like this photo as it shows the translucency of the blossoms.

One of my lilac blossoms - taken using a C7000 Olympus camera on the 17th of May, 2005. Posted by Picasa

First Post

Well, another journal to "ignore". I'm not a frequent poster.

But this is an attempt to start taking photographs more frequently.

I used to love photography as a teenager, and somehow life overwhelmed me with other things.

I'm crossing fingers I'll do with this what I set out to do.

Here goes.
